Do I need to register to join an Edico session?
No, you dont! Just follow your Edico link and insert your session password, and you’re good to go!
Can someone else see the information that I share on Edico?
Information shared in an Edico session will be accessible only to the members of that session. Only those in possession of the link and the password can access the information. When the session is closed, the information will be deleted from the server.
Does using Edico cost anything?
A free Lite version and also an enhanced paid version for private and corporate use are available.
Can Edico be used on mobile devices?
Yes, Edico is designed to be used on both tabletop and mobile devices. Edico also works well on mobile networks.
Can Edico substitute telephone calls as well?
Yes, via Edico you can chat by text, send emails, use teleconferencing and present documents in any case.
How does Edico CS/CG differ from the other information sharing services?
Edico CS collects documents delivered to a single C folder, allowing uploaders to see only their own files separated by a security token. For them, the collector can also download documents for viewing that others will not see either.
Moreover in Edico S/G sessions, there are additional services to be used, e.g. eSigning, and video conferencing Jitsi .
Can the participants share confidential documents mutually?
Yes, they can, and also they can, if they will, present documents to any other session participants. In particular, Edico CS provides document sharing through common confidential folders between pairs of users in a group of participants so that the other participants do not see their documents.
Does Edico and Edicto mean something?
Edico and Edicto are Latin words and they mean ‘I say’, ‘I declare’, 'I announce' and 'proclaim'.
